We at Bowers Builders (2006) Ltd take our Health & Safety very seriously. When starting a new project, it is essential to communicate health and safety to everyone. This helps foster a good safety culture within our team, contractors, and anyone visiting the site.


We’ve invested significant time and resources into ensuring every site is run in line with best-practice Health & Safety procedures.


Our team are trained in: Working at heights, EWP (Elevated Work Platforms), Confined spaces, HazardCo – Be Safe, SiteSafe – Passbook

  • HazardCo Member

    All our on-site and in-house Health & Safety is done through HazardCo. This involves site sign-in boards on our sites, Task Analyses, toolbox talks and more, all done through the Hazard Co App. At our head office, we can see all hazards, personnel, and contractors on-site at any time.

  • SiteSafe Member

    SiteSafe provides education and resources to help their members adopt best-practice systems and improve on-site Health & Safety. 

  • Impac PREQUAL Member

    PREQUAL enables contractors to demonstrate that they have been independently assessed and can be trusted to work safely. PREQUAL has a team of experienced Health & Safety assessors.

  • New Zealand Certified Builders Association Member

    NZCB was created to protect homeowners from unqualified builders and unethical practices and promote excellence in building standards. Members are required to hold a recognised trade qualification equivalent to or better than National Trade Certificate in Carpentry Level 4, and are also assessed for their history of stability and success, continued solvency, absence of complaints by customers and suppliers, a good untarnished reputation and brand, and consistently high standards.
